We have to brag a bit about our girls. So they finished school a little over 3 weeks and all came home with some hardware. Ashlynn, received an award from the city of Nampa based on being an all around good kid. (sports, academics, citizenship) She was 1 of 16 sixth graders from her middle school to be nominated by the faculty to receive the reward. She also finish her first year of middle school with a 4.o gpa. She received some academic awards from the school as well. Abigail did phenomenal in the accelerated reader program they have at school. She received her plaque for the second year in a row. She also excelled in all her subjects. Andrea received her medallion which they get their first year in the program. And we could not forget Adriauna. She received the BEST LITTLE HELPER AWARD given out by the President of SMITH, LLC. We can really see a difference when her and Abby take turn during family scripture time. We are so glad that we have kids that love to read and be good at school. They are starting out on the right track so far. We have our fingers and toes crossed.

SUNSCREEN?
I had a HUGE laugh on Friday. I went cleaning at Liz's house and the kids played in the pool FOREVER. They all were sunburnt from a previous day in the sun on Tuesday so they all wore t-shirts in the pool. I asked numerous times if they had sunscreen on and the answer was yes. Not so true. I should have asked if they had put sunscreen on every inch of there body. So the result. Upon returning to our house they all crashed and slept the entire afternoon. This was about 2 in the afternoon. The funny part was that none of them like to go to bed even at night but they were all asking if they could go to sleep. Michael got home at about 5 that evening and they still were asleep. I did get some nice piece and quiet which was nice. I was able to finish my book, The Wednesday Letters. By the way a very good read. I am not one for reading but it was a good book. Anyway, take a look at the pictures.

Father's Day
What a great day to celebrate! Not only do we get to tell our fathers how much we love and appreciate them we get to let our husbands know how grateful and how much we love them. I know that I don't tell Michael enough how much I love him or how great of a father he is. So today is a great day to be able to emphasize it. Michael, you mean the world to me!! What would I do without you. You are an amazing Father to your four beautiful girls and a wonderful husband to me, what more could I ask for. Thanks for all you do for our family and me. I'm so glad that I went to Iowa! 1 2 3
Next would be another man I love, and that would be my DAD!! I'm so proud of you, what a leap of Faith you had to take on this adventure. May you always know that I love you! That you mean the world to me, and that you will be in our prayers daily. Thank you for the example you set for me and my family and others, you are truly blessed! You are my Hero!!
