OUCH!! part 2

You would have thought that last one took the cake. But little Adri did not want to be outdone. What more could she have done to top Andrea's "knee hamburger?" How about BREAK AN ARM! That's right. The girls were over at the neighbor's house playing in the yard and one of the neighbor boys (12 years old) was chasing Adri (4 years old), dove at her legs, tripped her up and she fell on her wrist. I am not sure where his common sense was, but I believe it was Bill Cosby that talked about all teenagers being brain damaged. I think maybe this boy is ahead of the curve. Anyways, she is a trooper, and in some pain. I think the worst part about it is that she will have to stay out of the water. Pretty tough on her since she is part fish. Natalee spent 4 hours last night at the emergency room before they determined she had a "buckle" fracture on her radius by her wrist. She went today and had her cast put on. She will have to wear it for the next 4 weeks so she will be able to get it off right before school starts. That will be nice since it his her dominate hand that is casted.

Before the drama.

After the drama. That is a face that just pulls at your heartstrings. Donations can be sent to the "Adriauna Broken Arm Foundation"

Girls Camp

They told me I had to take a picture of myself, silly me.
Kaylee, Marlee, Ashlynn, and Marissa all standing around the fire and roasting marshmallows, fun.
This is me and Dawn next to me who is a great friend who is on the stake level who is trying to get me and Mel, Scott is in the back, he is my neighbor who lives behind us who comes up to be the priesthood who help out, and Mel a Great Friend.

Ashlynn, Me, and Marissa my girls, how fun it was having them both there. Thanks for being there.

Ashlynn and I right before testimony meeting. It was so nice to be there for her first year.

All my girls at the lake, they are sure a funny bunch. We laughed so hard all week.

This is Melanie, she saved my life. What a great help, and friend!
Marissa, Hailee, and Kayla at the lake.

These are all my girls, they are so GREAT!
So I'm back from a week of girls camp, wow can we say I'm glad that it is over, but to tell you the truth I always look forward to the next year. Rumor is that I will be on the Stake level next year. I'm excited!! We had a great time.
Ashlynn went for her first time and I think she really enjoyed it, Marissa also went with us and we have officially adopted her into our ward, the girls love her and want her to move in with me so she could go to our ward. She met some new friends here that I think might be lasting friends, we will have to wait and see.
We had no problems except for me getting in trouble by the stake because Hailee, Ali, Marissa, and another girl decided to be loud and noise until 3:00 am. Needless to say, they got the lecture from the stake. We had a lot of time down at the lake, we played a lot of games, and felt the spirit so strong. So I thought I would post some of the pictures of the week, so here they are.

OUCH!!

Well Natalee and Ashlynn are back from girls camp. The week went pretty fast. Not much happened here. Only two events that are worth mentioning. Andrea had her first major crash on her bike a couple days ago. I don't ever remember having a road rash this bad before and certainly did not remember mom and dad cleaning it up. I really had to show some sensitivity taking care of this one. I had to dig some small pebbles out and then put her through the agony of hydrogen peroxide. After about 4 dumps of the stuff in the brown bottle she said she did not want it anymore. She said she wanted the stuff in the white bottle that mom used. (rubbing alcohol). Needless to say we went back to the peroxide. It did not STING nearly as bad as the stuff in the white bottle. She has sworn off riding bikes. The day before I took the three younger girls fishing and then only one who caught anything was Adri. Unfortunately it was not a fish but her older sister Abby. Right in the tricep. Luckily her dad was thinking and bent all the barbs of the hooks down so it came out fairly easy. So camp is over and I can say for this house we are all glad. Natalee pours her heart into that calling and makes a really special week for the girls. She did have a bunch of help from a good friend Melanie. They each were able to take the stress load and spread it out so it did not fall on either one of them. I know I speak for all the girls and leaders of the ward. GREAT JOB Nat and Melanie. Now we can somewhat relax for the rest of the summer that has gone by quite fast. All of the girls will start school in a little over a month. Ash 7th grade, Abby 4th, Andrea 2nd and Adri kindergarten. WOW.

My 4's

I got an email the other day that made me think. But it was fun.

1) 4 places that I go to over and over: Work and the Bathroom

2) 4 people who email me regularly: Mom, Columbia House, Glenn Beck & LDS Gems

3) 4 of my favorite places to eat: Los Betos (best breakfast burritos), Texas Roadhouse, Any Chinese Buffet & Red Robin

4) 4 places I would rather be right now: The mountains, Alaska, the Virgin Islands & my bed.

5) 4 people I think will respond to the email: Not Sure

6) 4 TV shows I watch (regularly): Deadliest Catch, Verminators, So you think you can Dance & any of the Law & Order series.

I wonder if a psychologist could make something of me by the answers that you give. If not them maybe someone could make it up and pass if off as real and it could be a cool email that makes it way around the world.

Fourth of July

Girls watching fireworks. Way to loud!

Neighbors watching the show

Had to put this one in, the girls are ready for church and look so nice.

All of them on the front lawn watching the show.

Andrea throwing pop its at her dads feet, was way funny to see Mike jump.

One of the mortars going off that we had, lots of fun.
Mike and Chris our neighbor, kids in a candy store. I think they had more fun than any of us.

We also had our fire ring out front with a huge fire going, then made s'mores after we were done lighting of all of them. What a great idea!! We had a great time staying home, and spending time as a family this day, the girls had a good time along with Mike and I. What a great Holiday this was for us all! God Bless the U.S.A.

Family Reunion

Our cute family picture. What a great bunch of Girls!! And DAD.
All the Grand kids minus one, due next month

Abigail holding her new cousin Brynn Lee, What a cutie!!

Oh, brotherly love!

What a fun game this was, I laughed so hard, good job everyone! Thanks Lisa.

Cousins, they had such a good time playing with everyone plus we didn't have any fighting. Yea

The Smith Family, what a crew! We had so much FUN. Our kids wanted to know when we get to go and do that again with all of their cousins. It was so nice to be able to just let the kids run wild, and not have to worry about them. There was so much stuff to do and keep everyone happy. Hats off to Brian and Barb for the great location, to Jeff and Chrissy and Tim and Shelly for the awesome water toys, and to Mom for taking care of all the food and expenses for the weekend, what a help and stress relief for me especially. And to my wonderful talented husband Mike for the totally cool and awesome T-shirts that he took time and careful planning in making sure everyone had a shirt the right size and color the would fit that family. You ROCK honey!!! (have to brag, he is my hubby) Over all it was a great time spending with family and being able to get away from reality for just a little while. Thanks everyone for a wonderful time, lets keep it a tradition that we get together like this more often. Not just for holidays or at Moms for Sunday dinner. Thanks again, it was a great time we had a lot of fun.
